This website contains the gene expression data that was generated as part of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Institute for Genome Sciences Genome Center for Infectious Diseases (NIAID grant number U19 AI110820). The gene expression data encompasses the range of projects included in the GCID which includes unique sets of samples from human subjects, when possible, as well as relevant animal or cell culture models of disease, as appropriate to each project.
The gEAR portal is a website for visualization and analysis of multi-omic data both in public and private domains. For detailed instructions on how to use the portal please see the user manual. The gEAR is maintained by a team at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and led by Dr. Ronna Hertzano and Joshua Orvis. The gEAR is supported by the NIDCD/NIH R01DC013817 and the Hearing Health Foundation (Hearing Restoration Project). We encourage you to deposit your data for public or private viewing in the gEAR!
